Check out the tread depth. It's a good idea to check the tire's tread depth at least once a year, and in cold weather, it needs to be done more often. According to experts, most tires should have 6/32nds of an inch of tread left. If there's less, it's time to replace them.
Look for uneven wear- If you can see bulges or skipped tread, this is a sign of uneven wear.
Check your alignment- Make sure the wheels are aligned regularly and when having your tires changed as well, especially if you feel you're losing control while driving or your car is making unusual noises while turning corners.
?Examine your tires' rims- Look for cracks or dents, as well as rust and other damage.
Check your air pressure- The air pressure needs to be checked regularly, especially before taking your car out on the highway. Losing tire pressure frequently means you need to change your tires.
