Cars can leak fluid due to faulty parts. When your car is leaking, it's usually a sign that something needs to be repaired. This common issue usually needs to be taken care of as soon as possible, so here's what steps you should take.

If your car is leaking a fluid that's yellow or brown and of a thick viscosity, then it's likely motor oil. While not usually an issue in small amounts, you should still call a mechanic, since leaking oil can signify a motor issue.

Another common fluid leak is fuel. While leaking fuel might sound scary, it's usually not too dangerous. However, we'd still recommend visiting an auto body shop to get the situation evaluated.

If your car is leaking water, then don't worry. This is usually just excess moisture from your vehicle's air conditioning system and not a cause for concern.
